CARDIFF -- Fifteen non-British players were named in the Arsenal and Chelsea teams for Saturday's FA Cup final, a record for the showpiece occasion of the English season.
Arsenal named six foreign players while Chelsea, the first side to name a team without a single English player for a Premier League match, named nine.
World champions France supplied six players who started the match at Cardiff.
Six of the 10 substitutes were also foreign players as were the managers of both teams -- Frenchman Arsene Wenger of Arsenal and Italian Claudio Ranieri of Chelsea.
The previous record for the final was 12 foreign players, in last year's game between Arsenal and Liverpool.
